PwC Mock Assessment Centre

Student Actuarial Society has partnered up with PwC to present a mock assessment centre.

This event is an opportunity to prepare for assessment centres. You will receive some handy tips, followed by an opportunity to put them into practice in a "mock" environment. Representatives from PwC will be there to provide some helpful guidance and feedback.

Venue capacity is strictly limited, so apply here now. Preference will be given based on responses to form questions.

Food and Drink: The Curtin Tav kitchen menu will be available to order until 7:00pm. Please note that since Curtin Tav is a licensed venue, so no BYO is allowed. Some food will also be provided as a part of the ticket.

Dress: Come with your table as the Dream Team of your choice! Be it superheroes, sports stars, or any famous groups.

Prizes on the night include the best-dressed table, as well mini-games throughout the night, and for the teams that come out on top!

$10 for SAS members
Each table includes up to 6 people, but availability is limited, so get in early if you want to ensure you're with all your friends! Please note that we can arrange a table for you if you are not able to form one yourself.

Relay for Life

Relay For Life is a charity event that brings many people together to celebrate cancer survivorship, remember loved ones lost and empower teams within the community to raise money for cancer research and familial support.

The event is organised and run by passionate and local volunteers and includes activities to celebrate survivors and recognise those who have supported them. One event is the candlelight ceremony which is held to honour loved ones lost.

Through this event, participants raise much-needed funds in order to aid continual life-saving cancer research, state-wide prevention programs, and support to the thousands of WA families affected by cancer each year.

The Student Actuarial Society presents our biggest event of the year, Industry Night! So make sure you leave space in your calendar. All students with an interest in maths and finance are welcome. This is a great opportunity for anyone with an analytical mind, or an interest in data science, to better understand their potential career pathways.

At this event, you will have the opportunity to network with representatives from:

  • Financial and professional services (Big 4)

  • Insurance

  • Data analytics

  • Data systems and information management
